The title compound, CH3OCOCH2CH2SnCl2(OH) (1), readily undergotransesterification into the corresponding analogues, ROCOCH2CH2SnCl2(OH) (R = CH3CH2, 2; CH3CH2CH2, 3; CH2=CHCH2,4), when reacted with an alcohol ROH under reflux. The structural featuresof these compounds have been described, and the possible mechanismof the transesterification reaction has been suggested.Downloads
